Well it was quite a week. I had an appt on Tuesday with my OB and was sent directly to the hospital. My bp was pretty high. So I didn’t have to call in for a tour of the labor and delivery wing of the hospital, we got a hands on feel for what it is like. After a few hours of testing and blood pressure monitoring I was sent home….on strict bed rest. This is something I am not good at. By 10:00 am the next day I was SO bored and already feeling like I was going insane. Well, my Dr. called and she upped my meds and sent me back to work for the week. We did get another ultrasound on Thursday and everything looks good! Our little one is over 2lbs already! I can’t believe it! He’s getting so big! So, for now I am supposed to “take it easy”, go to work and come home. Take it light on the sodium, and wait till Friday to see what she has to tell me then! So say a prayer that everything is okay, and I can keep on going for a few more weeks….there is SOO MUCH TO DO! Well, that’s enough about my eventful week. Ill keep it updated with what’s going on!

A big week ahead. Well I have a few Dr appts this week, one with my normal Dr. She has put me on the every two week schedule…so it is just the routine check up. I will also have that second ultrasound I was suppose to have a couple weeks ago, I had to reschedule but the time has come. I am excited to see my baby again, it is getting a little more nerve racking as time goes by. You read stuff, people tell you things, all trying to be informational but it scares the daylights out of you! I’m not worried or scared much at all about being a mom……just getting him here healthy is what is taking a toll. I want everything to go as smoothly as possible. I just cannot get this nagging feeling that he will be here early. I will just continue to pray (I hope you all are praying with me!) I know that this whole situation is in the Lord’s hands. I must say it is the weirdest feeling in the world! To care so much about this little baby that I have no clue what he looks like, but can feel occasionally…..All that stuff aside, I am so worried we wont be ready! There is so much to do, I am just so tired to do it….lol I’m sure it will get done, well it will have to! Anyway, I am so blessed things have gone so great this far. I’ll be sure to post what we learn this week!

Well this week was a long one! There is just so much going on and so much to do! Rob and I did get alot done this week. We went to BabiesRus and we are officially registered…ya know, it is fun to do, but I was so exhausted after we were done. It’s draining trying to figure out what you will need, and not feel selfish, cause you know people are gonna be buying this stuff for you. I will just be so greatful for whatever we get. Also, the other big thing is….we cleaned our basement! WOOHOO! We both just have so much “stuff” it was a nice feeling to throw stuff out and organize. NOW we can start on the babies room! I feel ready now. Let’s see, Oh I had another Dr. appt. all went well. My BP was pretty low, but she said to keep an eye on it, because it could start going up here in a few weeks. I now start going back every 2 weeks to make sure everything is okay. As of now I have gained a whopping 2 lbs this whole pregnancy. I don’t mind gaining weight, I am pregnant! I just don’t want to gain a ton all at once. I am going to try to be careful!

Well it has been a while since I last posted….we have been quite busy.

New York was a blast! I just love the city life, hundreds of thousands of people, the lights, the FOOD, it was just great! After the day in the city we spent the next day at the beach, I love the beach just as much! We went to a Boardwalk, rides, people, FOOD (yummy ICE CREAM), sand in my toes, and awesome waves. All in all it was a great little weekend getaway.

Now we have to get to business, it is time to get ready for this baby to come. So bring on the organizing, the shopping, the registering, and the baby showers! YEAH! I am so excited to get all this going! I have another ultrasound on Friday, so we can confirm ONE MORE TIME that it is a little boy in there! I can’t wait to see him again!

Well this past week went by SO SLOWLY! Rob was on a business trip and it all just seemed to drag. I am hoping this week goes by alot more quickly than last week. We leave for vacation on Thursday. Off to the east coast! I am so excited! We are staying with Rob’s cousin and his family. I finally get to see New York City! YEAH! I am so buying the baby an I LOVE NEW YORK onsie. Say prayers that I can do alot of walking without practically dying. I get so tired so quickly lately. Of course, I will make sure not to overdo it, I still wanna have fun! I will update on all the fun we had on our trip next week! YEAH! Approx 18 weeks till Baby Boy gets here!

Well, this week was a very hard week for me. I was pretty sick with a sinus infection..luckily I got some meds and now I feel MUCH MUCH better. Now Rob has it, I feel bad and gross…like our house is crawling with germs. Rob walks around with a Lysol can, spraying EVERYTHING. Hopefully, we will get over this soon. I had a Dr appt on Friday, and everything still looks good. Our due date stayed the same (with the measurements from the ultrasound) and the best news of all, We got the Okay to go on vacation! YEAH! NEW YORK HERE WE COME! I am ready for a change of scenery. I still haven’t gained any weight, but she seems to be okay with that. As long as the baby is growing! Well, I’m tired…so I’m going to grab a piece of chocolate and lay down for a bit! Pray for warmer weather!!!!

Well, It’s a Boy!!! We are super excited. The ultrasound was actually moved to Thursday. The Dr was going to go out of town and they tried to reschedule for later….but I had none of that! They squeezed me in Thursday morning. YEAH! So we were able to see our little baby. So cute. She said everything measured good and the baby’s weight was good! I did go out of town for the weekend for a Scrapbook retreat, and SHOPPING. I got “little man” outfits for baby. I know your next question is; what is his name? We have NO CLUE! There are a couple that we are playing around with, but nothing is set in stone. Well, that is our big news! I can’t believe next weekend is Easter! Time is flying by!

This week I will hit the halfway mark. 20 weeks, Can you believe it!? I can’t, at all. It seems like this is going pretty quickly. Im really starting to feel pregnant now. Im still in between stages on the whole clothing issue. So instead of buying new stuff, I have been squeezing myself in things as if I was a sausage in its casings. I did grab two t-shirts at target last week, so if you see me often…plan on seeing them often (at least until the rest of my maternity stuff fits). The big news for the week is, in 5 days we will find out what we will be having. I AM SO EXCITED! After I find out I will be going on a “girly trip” for the weekend. I’m excited about that as well. Its a weekend of scrapbooking, eating, and SHOPPING! WooHoo! Who could ask for more! I plan on buying some fun stuff for the little one this weekend. For those of you who are saying in your heads that you hope the baby cooperates and shows us the “stuff”, don’t worry… we had a talk, we will definitely know what we are getting. I don’t plan on getting off that table until they tell me. I will definitely keep you all updated on here…so stay tuned. Next post will tell whether we are on the PINK or BLUE team!!

Well this weekend was a good one….Rob and I woke up had breakfast, then headed out to see what was on the housing market. I must admit it was great fun to look, but a little more nerve racking to actually commit. We have so much going on right now, it is hard to think about doing that right now too! I know everything will turn out like it is supposed to. It’s all in God’s hand. Let’s see, we celebrated Stacey’s birthday this weekend. She showed up with cute new hair! We had fun hanging with the fam. Now to the sad Monday, we lost Miss Chris today. She went to go dance with Jesus this morning. Although I’ll miss her, I can’t help but think that this moment is all that she ever lived and hoped for! Im happy for her, she’s having the time of her life!    11 Days till we find out what this baby is! I can’t wait!!

Well another week has past, it seems like they are going by a little more quickly lately. This was a good weekend. Rob and I went looking at baby stuff  this weekend. Pray for us, we have this ability to pick out the most expensive thing out there. I am trying to use my experience as a nanny to weed out some of that stuff that you really don’t use and not get caught up in all the hype of this baby stuff. It’s still hard to buy stuff. Even though most of everything we are going to get will be neutral, since we plan on having more. It’s still weird for me. Patty (Rob’s mom) bought us some clothes on her trip last weekend. I have to admit, it made things more real than shopping for a stroller. Looking at the clothes and taking them home, WOAH! We are going to have a baby. Well, that’s all for now. Hopefully another quick week ahead!
